Hotel Ivy

Past Clients

Situated in the heart of vibrant, downtown Minneapolis, this skyway-connected luxury mixed-use development incorporates the historic Ivy Tower. Hotel Ivy is conveniently located next to Orchestra Hall, the bustling Nicollet Mall area and the Minneapolis Convention Center. Hotel Ivy features 136 rooms including 21 luxurious suites. Integrating the original Ivy Tower and a newly constructed hotel and residential tower, the building is striking in its beauty and poise.

The original Ivy Tower was completed in 1930. Commissioned by the Second Church of Christ Scientist and designed by Thomas R. Kimball, the tower introduced a style of architecture the likes of which the city had never seen. The tower is widely regarded for its historical architectural significance in both form and function, which differed greatly from the popular skyscrapers which sprouted up in many of the major cities in this era. Unfortunately, the Depression interrupted the full development of the original complex, and the Church was unable to fund a planned second phase.

Guest amenities include the showcase Porter & Frye Restaurant and Bar serving cutting edge cuisine; 5,000 sq. ft. of beautiful and flexible meeting space and the 17,000 sq. ft. Ivy Spa Club and Salon. The Ivy Spa Club is the city's largest Spa Club boasting an eco-friendly destination that lives in harmony with the beauty of the city that surrounds it with luxurious treatment rooms and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Inside the 14 treatment rooms there are areas dedicated to massages, body treatments, facials, nail services, and more. The refined relaxation areas, couples’ suites and hydrotherapy rooms, steam rooms, saunas, whirlpool, and state-of-the-art fitness facility provide additional spaces to unwind.
